My Journey
My path to counselling wasn’t linear—it was human.
For 30 years, I built a life in tech. It taught me resilience, creative problem-solving, and how to navigate high-stakes challenges. But over time... a quiet truth emerged: I began to realize I had prioritized achievement over meaning. My values had shifted, and the "success" I’d chased no longer fit who I was becoming.
So I walked away from the corporate world. Sold my home. Released my belongings. And for five years, I lived nomadically across continents, seeking, learning, and shedding old skins. While in Panama, working with children in underserved communities, I witnessed resilience that humbled and mirrored my own. Then, en route to Cambodia to fulfill a dream of teaching, the pandemic halted my journey mid-step. Suddenly, I was pulled back to the very place I’d once left behind... a return that felt like surrender, I was gutted.
Yet in that forced stillness, grief became my unexpected teacher. And within it, seeds of healing took root.
With support from my mother and dear friends and close family, I trained as a counsellor at Rhodes Wellness College.
While there, I didn’t just study the human condition... I faced my own layers of self-abandonment, fear,
and survival.
That journey taught me:
Healing isn’t about becoming someone new - it’s returning to who you’ve always been
beneath the noise.
And Courage isn’t the absence of fear - it’s choosing yourself through the fear.
Today, I hold space for women rewriting their stories... not as an "expert," but as a fellow traveler
who knows the terrain.

Nature & Journey: Honouring
All Paths Home
In wild places, I learned: You cannot force a river—you can only flow with it.
My years walking mountains, coastlines, and forests taught me what therapy reveals:
-
Growth happens when we root into our own rhythm... not when we contort to others’ pace.
-
Stillness is not passive... it’s how we hear our deepest truth beneath the noise.
This is why I weave nature’s wisdom into our conversations:
Not as a "technique," but as a reminder that you, too, are wild, resilient, and worthy of ease.
Traveling across cultures echoed this truth:
-
In Panama’s rainforests, Moroccan Medinas, and beyond... I witnessed women everywhere reconciling strength and softness, duty and desire.
-
Their stories hummed with the same question: "How do I honor my roots while choosing my own way?"
Movement; hiking ridges, swimming open waters... taught me embodiment:
-
How to trust my body’s wisdom after years of living in my head.
-
How action dissolves anxiety not by "fixing," but by freeing.
In our work, this becomes:
-
Permission to explore what grounds YOU... Forest walks or city streets, dance or silence.
-
Celebrating your unique expression of strength... whether setting a boundary or finally resting.
Knowing - Your worth was never something to earn. It was always something to remember.
